Education for drugs prevention
Within the campaign “Drugs, no thank you”, the Agency for young and sport”, has recently organized the fourth training – seminar in Ohrid for coordinators in the fight against drugs in high schools.
European Forum
For a better kindergarten
The association “European Forum” from the village Miravci, Gevgelija, implements the project “Better and more beautiful kindergarten for our children”. With this project, the children from this village got a place for the most important children activity – playing, introducing the world and growing up. With this project, supported by the Holland Embassy, the kindergarten’s playground was arranged. The playground has been left untidy for years and it was the main reason for the bad attendance of the kindergarten by children.

Combating the climate changes
The project for combating the climate changes which has been implemented in Macedonia in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning and the United Nations Development Program is supported by another actor – the K-15 Production. The popular team gets involved with activities for raising the public awareness of the population in regard to this global ecological problem.

Women activists cross the borders
At the cultural center “Tocka” in Skopje (38 Ilindenska Street) there is an exhibition of black and white art photographs – portraits of women and children by the French photographer Philip Barsin. The exhibition is called “Women activists in action for crossing the borders” and it is part of the same-called project, the goal of which is to promote women activism in the creation of peace, stability and coexistence in the Balkan region.
Living Heritage Program
Eight more projects supported
Within the NGO Fair, on 30 November at the “Alexander Palace Hotel”, the grants were signed between Mr. Vladimir Milcin, executive director of the Open Society Institute Macedonia Foundation, and the grant winners from the Living Heritage program that OSIMF Macedonia implements in Macedonia together with the Belgian Foundation King Boduen.
