Combating the climate changes 

The project for combating the climate changes which has been implemented in Macedonia in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning and the United Nations Development Program is supported by another actor – the K-15 Production. The popular team gets involved with activities for raising the public awareness of the population in regard to this global ecological problem.

For that purpose, K-15 made a video, a TV show, radio advertisement, flyer, poster, and they will organize parties, too. The media coverage is provided by the newspapers Dnevnik and Vest, radio Antenna 5, A1 TV and five local TV houses.

As Mr. Branko Ognjanovski from K-15 Production said at the press conference at the MOE, the focused is placed citizens education, who are offered solutions – what can each of us do to reduce the negative effect of climate changes and their occurrence. This media campaign will last for 2 months.

The finances for the whole project have been provided from the GEF – Global Environmental Fund. By the end of this year, the Ministry should prepare a national report on climate changes, as task resulting from the ratification of the Convention for combating the climate changes that Republic of Macedonia signed in 1997.
