Development Foundation Anatolia

Focus on projects for education and humanitarian help

The Development Foundation Anatolia established in 1981 in the area Van in the south of Turkey, has been present with its office in Skopje for four years now. It goal is to promote the reconstruction and development in the areas that were struck and suffered major damages in the 1976 earthquake. The foundation's headquarters is located in Ankara, Turkey and besides Skopje, it has its offices in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Serbia and Montenegro, Pakistan, Iran and Albania.

In our country, the foundation is focused on implementing training projects, organized in and out of the office and developing relevant, administrative and logistic activities (free Turkish and English language courses, computers, seminars, assistance for realization of certain activities of local NGO). The Foundation organizes the distribution of humanitarian help for children without parents and the population that lives in the rural areas. It cooperates with Ngo from Gostivar - "Adeksan" and "Radicki Progres" and its plan for the next year is to spread its educational activities in Bitola. In 2005, the Development Foundation Anatolia in Macedonia will also work on education for preparation of handicraft with folk motives, it will help to organize cultural manifestations of multiethnic character and provide equipment for the daily stay classrooms and kindergartens for all ethnic groups.
