Forum of the political parties’ youth organizations

UNITAS - Forum of the political parties’ youth organizations in Macedonia promoted itself officially as a new civil society organization that unites 9 youth organizations of the political parties in Macedonia on 22 December 2004. UNITAS has members from VMRO-DPMNE, Democratic Alternative, Democratic Union, Democratic Union for Integration, Liberal – Democratic Party, United Party for Emancipation, Party for Democratic Prosperity, Social – Democratic Union of Macedonia and the Socialist Party.

As a civil society organization, UNITAS was registered on 7 September 2004. Its goal is to encourage and intensify the dialogue and cooperation between the youth organizations of the political parties, regardless of their different party or ethnic beliefs, on local, national or international level. In its activities, the organization strives for implementation of activities in the field of informal education, as well as for developing cooperation with other local, national and international organizations. It plans to work on several projects like: “School for Young Politicians 5 and 6”, “Dialogue and Cultural Identity”, “Political marketing”, “Organizational Management and Strategic Planning”, “Diplomacy and Diplomatic Protocol”, etc.
