In Bitola Youth Cultural Centre opened   On 13 December 2005, the building of the Youth Cultural Centre was solemnly opened in Bitola. The Centre is located in an old house – a protected cultural monument in Samoilova Street. The house was completely restored with support from the “Living Heritage” programme of the Open Society Institute – Macedonia Foundation and the Kind Baudouin Foundation from Belgium. The project was carried out by the association Youth Cultural Centre, and the whole procedure lasted for several years and was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, the local government, the Museum of Bitola and other subjects. With this building, Bitola got a cultural centre for the young people with facilities for organizing workshops (computer and language courses), working with the media, place for meetings, concerts, promotions, debates and other events.   M.I.
