8 March: For a world of equal

The World Women Day, which has been recognized throughout the world, is marked on the proposal of Clara Cetkin, a German revolutionary, and fighter for social justice and gender equality. On her proposal, in the far 1810, at the International Women Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, 8 March was declared an International Women Day. Since then, it has been a day when women, joined by a lot of men, fight against women subordinance all around the world, for a just world of equal people.  

21 March: Days of Spring and Environment 

The days dedicated to the environment in Macedonia start on the day that marks the beginning of spring. The Days of Environment are marked on the initiative of the "green movement" members in Macedonia from the "Skopje" column in the Nova Makedonija newspaper. They were supported by the Ministry of Environment and several enterprises, local governments, schools, etc, and are marked with cleaning and arranging actions, exhibitions, plays, debates and so on.


22 March: World Water Day
 
The World Water Day was declared by the Organization of United Nations. It is a day when the world population is reminded how much it depends on the basic life resource and, unfortunately, how much it is endangered. The drinking water is more and more reduced, or it becomes unusable. Thus, the mankind remains poorer and more threatened. This is a day of world action for protection of the liquid that means life. 


26-29 March: A Seminar - "Creating the Future of Europe"
 

The German Foundation Konrad Adenauer and the European Commission Delegation in Skopje are organizing a Seminar for young people called "Creating the Future of Europe"
