Education Modernization project
MCIC accredited for teacher training
In July this year, the Bureau for Educational Development accredited the Macedonian Centre for International Cooperation (MCIC) for carrying out teacher training for the schools involved in the Education Modernization project, financed by the World Bank, The Kingdom of Holland and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia. The Bureau is going to prepare a catalogue of training courses to offer to the schools so that they can choose the courses they need themselves. The project funds for the training courses will be allocated to the schools.
Five MCIC programmes will be included in the catalogue: basic project management training; communication skills; team work and gender issues. The courses will be taking place in 2007 and 2008.
The catalogue will also include the total of 160 training programmes on various topics. They are offered by 50 training providers previously accredited by the Bureau for Educational Development.
