SOZM Intervention Center Mobile phone lines for reporting abusers On 15 September 2007, the mobile phone lines 070 (071)/ 141-700 and 075 (076) started operating at the SOZM Intervention Center for sheltering victims of violence. The team of the Intervention Center informs that the SOS-line is operating on the whole territory of the Republic of Macedonia and that the users of mobile phone lines 070 and 071 (from the mobile operator T-Mobile Macedonia) can report the case of violence on 070 (071)/141-700. Each call (duration unlimited) costs 10 denars, 35% of which goes to administrative maintenance of the Center. “The users of mobile phone lines 075 and 076 (from the mobile operator Cosmofon) can report the case of violence on 075 (076)/141-700. The calls (duration unlimited) are free. The mobile lines are covered 24/7 by a trained team of SOS- volunteers and an intervention shelter-center, providing 24/48 accommodation. They have also established cooperation with the relevant institutions of the system that are engaged with solving the problem of domestic violence. The national mobile phone lines are supported by both national mobile phone operators, T-Mobile and Cosmofon.   K.B.
