The civic sector for the President Boris Trajkovski 

True altruist and peacemaker 

The whole organizational structure and all volunteers of the humanitarian organization "El Hilal" are deeply touched after the tragic death of the President Boris Trajkovski. We lost a great humanist, head of the country who came to this function as a proven activist in the civic sector, man with noble qualities, wise, moderate, modest realist - characteristics of a citizen who comes from a multicultural and multi-confessional country. In such a country, the President strived towards respecting the benefits of the universal values by all citizens, being convinced that in that way the democracy can be strengthened and the conditions for peace and welfare can be created. He gave great contribution for the development of the civil society, with an infinite support of the civic actions. He knew the NGO value and their role in the awakening of the civic awareness and dignity. His support for establishing the NGO in the decision-making processes in the country was always present. President Trajkovski was aware that the promotion of the peace process, according to the democratic principles and the accepted international standards, depends on the inevitable mass involvement of all citizens in them. At the latest NGO Fair, that took place in Skopje, during his visit to the stalls, he paused at the "El Hilal's stall and spoke directly to the activists, showing an interest for their work and the activities of the organization. His encouraging and inspirational words for maintaining the vitality of the civic activities will remain in the heads of the "El Hilal" activists forever. They will remember the late President as true altruist and peacemaker.
