Humanitarian action for children’s health

“From children to children”

About 50,000 denars have been collected in the humanitarian action of “Opravdano prisutni” called “From children to children” for help and reconstruction of the Children clinic. Children from the primary schools in the country have been making handiworks from natural material that were sold at two school exhibitions at the primary schools “Dimitar Miladinov” in Skopje and “Goce Delcev” in Kavadarci and at the three-day TV auction on A1 TV.

The pupils made drawings, jewellery, small houses, decorations from coloured glass, wood, colourful gourds, small jugs and other items for their peers-patients at the Clinic. The items were then sold at various prices. Using their fantasy and creativity, the children made wonderful items from paper – postcards, picture frames from macaroni and bee baskets. Their was a considerable response to the auction by the children parents, friends, and other children who offered most for some of the drawings and the gourds. Several drawings bought at the TV auction have been donated by their new owners and they will beautify the walls after the termination of the reconstruction process. The goal of this humanitarian action that children help their peers, at the same time showing their creative potentials”, says Vesna Krstevska – Trajkova, organizers of the project.
