A National Education Development Programme adopted

 

After the Government had adopted the National Education Development Programme in the Republic of Macedonia (together with the supporting programmes for development of the pre-school, primary, high and higher education; development of the ICT in the education, professional development of the school staff, developing an institutional support of the educational reforms, providing the quality control in the education and the European Language Portfolio), the Ministry of Education and Science, in cooperation with the foundation Open Society Institute – Macedonia, organized a press-conference on 10 March this year where it presented the above mentioned documents.

The Minister of Education and Science, Azis Polozani and FIOOM’s executive director, Mr. Vladimir Milcin, spoke on the importance of these programme documents and the Vice-Minister of Education and Science and the Chairman of the National Expert Group, Tale Geramitcioski held a short presentation on the National Programme’s mission and the supporting programme documents, stressing out the key areas where the projected reforms are to be implemented.
