Dear friends,

You are currently looking at the new Civic World, not only because it is the new edition, but also because we have it on 24 pages, enriched with several new columns. The integrated attitude towards the civic society, exceeding the Macedonian framework is illustrated on the pages of our and your magazine. We think that in this way, by including texts on Balkan region, Europe and the world, we will provide a broader picture of our sector of operation, which cannot be seen within one country only, especially not these days, when the processes of integration are going on.
In the new column, called "People", we will try to present some of the NGO sector actors in a different way. Another new column is the one that will take us through the history of the civil society. Our sector does have a history that we should recall from time to time.

I hope that you will enjoy reading the new contents of The Civic World.
