PRIVATE ELECTRONIC MEDIA ASSOCIATION 

Promoting and Protecting the Personal Interests

Recently, in Skopje, the Association of Private Electronic Media in Macedonia was established. It was established as a result of the need to unite the electronic media in Macedonia into one professional organization promoting and protecting the professional interests of private electronic media.

The establishment of this association was initiated and organized by the Founders Association of Trade Radio-broadcasting Organizations in Macedonia and financially supported by IREX Promedia.

At the founding Assembly, 51 representatives from the electronic media in Macedonia were present, and Mr. Lazar Temelkov from Skopje TV station Kanal 5 was elected the first president of the Association.
