First Children Embassy in the World – Medjashi
Informal education through children workshops
Starting from October this year, The First Children Embassy in the World – Medjashi, is going to implement activities for informal education through children workshops for computers, English, education on the human values, theatre, literature, astronomy, ecology, art and origami. The workshops give the children from different ethnic background and low social status a chance to socialize doing positive and useful alternatives in their free time. Through these workshops, the children are enabled to choose different activities according to their interests and with a use of appropriate tools to develop their creativity and fantasy. The workshops will be open once a week from 4 p.m. to 8.30. pm. The group will consist of children aged 4 to 14.

Second Children Congress against the abuse of children labor and education.
From 4 to 8 September in New Delhi, India, the First Children Embassy in the World – Medjashi, as a national coordinator of the Global March Against Children Labor, took part at the Second World Children Congress Against the Abuse of Children Labor and for Education. Emilija Milevska, programme-assistant and Ivana Stojanovska (14 years old, a child-delegate, both representatives of the Children Embassy Madjashi, participated at the Congress.
Altogether, there were over 200 children participants from 30 countries in the world, talking about the cases of abuse in factories, mines, pornography, prostitution and terrorism, the bad experiences of their peers, as well as their desire to help and find solutions for this growing problem. The Congress was also attended by representatives from the UN agencies, the Government and the civil society in New Delhi, who promised to make further efforts for eliminating any form of children abuse. The Medjashi representatives informed on the condition in Macedonia and received support for the activities which the embassy takes against the children abuse, as well as further cooperation with the other members of this world organization.
