German Society for Technical Cooperation Macedonian - German Cooperation for DevelopmentThe German government was one of the first countries that immediately after we had gained our independence, showed its interest to provide financial and technical support to the Macedonian Government in overcoming the present development problems. The ways and terms of technical assistance implementation are defined in the Bilateral Development Technical Cooperation Agreement between the Macedonian and the German Governments, which was ratified at the Parliament on 27 January2000. The corresponding Ministry for bilateral cooperation between the German and Macedonian Governments is the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and on behalf of the Macedonian Government, the bilateral cooperation is coordinated by the Ministry of Finance.
