Services of knowledge in the developing countries

The United Nations Development Programme - UNDP offers "services of knowledge" for the developing countries. More precisely, it offers the capacity of the network of experts from various fields, which provide advice, expertise and transfer of knowledge in the countries where this network is active. Those are the countries from the following regions: Arab countries, the Caribbean, Central and Eastern Africa, Europe/CIS. Latin America, the Pacific, North and Southeastern Asia, South Africa, Western and South Asia and West Africa. The network has more than 4000 members, including the UNDP employees.

The main areas addressed at the moment are: the democratic rule, prevention of crisis, evaluation, HIV/AIDS, gender issues, micro-financing, etc.  For more information go to www.undp.org .
