Fellowship in multiethnic clubs

The First Children Embassy in the World “Medjashi” has started managing the project “Fellowship through multiethnic cooperation at the multiethnic clubs in 5 high schools in Skopje, Tetovo and Kumanovo.

The activities include developing a multiethnic dialogue for improving the cooperation between the teachers and high school students from different ethnic background and strengthening the capacities of the 5 multiethnic clubs at the five high schools in Skopje, Tetovo and Kumanovo.

“The project should contribute to a better understanding and cooperation between the teachers and the students from the high schools of which three are in Skopje – DSMU “Pance Karagjozov”, DSU “Nikola Karev” and DSU “Cvetan Dimov”, the one in Tetovo – DSMU “Nikola Stein” and the one in Kumanovo – DSU “Nace Bugjoni”, said the project-coordinator, Mitko Gjorgiev,.  

The project will last for 12 months, a period when training courses for non-violent conflict resolution should be carried out, as well as 12 workshops at the medical high school in Skopje, activities for peace-building and raising the public awareness, establishing a network of teachers for non-violent conflict resolution, publishing a brochure for the multiethnic clubs operation and organizing 5 courses for learning the language of the minorities. The training will cover 20 teachers and 600 students of different ethnic background and activities in the multiethnic clubs.
