Informative center for people with special needs

The Informative center for people with special needs is operating in Tetovo, with the aim of helping these citizens realize their rights guaranteed by the present laws in the Republic of Macedonia, by means of providing them with on-time and accurate information, and also by pointing to the institutions in charge they can refer to when faced with a specific problem. The information are provided free of charge.

The Informative Centre is located in the building of the municipality council in Tetovo. The telephone number is 044/330-242. They also foresee visits to the homes of the people who move with difficulties. The carrier of the project is the Parents’ association of children with cerebral paralysis, together with the partner organization “Zlatna Raka” from the eponymous town. The project is financially supported by the “Share-see” programme.

The day for fight against children cancer and leukemia marked

“Peperutka” continues to provide unselfish help

The organization “Peperutka” from Skopje organized a programme for marking the 15 February – the world day for fight against cancer and leukemia of children at the Army House in Skopje.

The president of the Association Natasa Kotlar – Trajkovska spoke at the manifestation and among other things she informed that according to the latest data, every 500 child in the world becomes ill with cancer before they turn 15, but also that “Peperutka” will continue further with its noble mission to provide the necessary help for the children who suffer cancer and their families.

“In spite of all efforts and the great love and desire, there are still children in Macedonia who die from cancer” – said Kotlar-Trajkovska.

The short documentary called “Seen through my eyes” was shown. It speaks about the life of children who are treated at the Oncology Ward at the Children Hospital in Skopje, and the programme was closed with the giving of certificates to individuals, institutions and companies who gave their contribution in the fight against cancer of children.
