Support to the sustainable social and economic development
The Association for socio-economic development (ASD) is a civil society organization established in July 2002. Its members are economists, sociologists and other researchers focused on various subjects of the social and economic development of the country.
The organization's main goal is to support the institutions, the policy and the activities for promotion of a sustainable social and economic development. More precisely, the ASD goals involve dynamic economic growth, increased employment and mobility of the work force, alleviating the unemployment and the poverty, reducing the economic imbalance, appropriate direction of the social transfer, raising the level of the living standard, improving the education and the health care as well as increasing the citizens' participation in the political and the social process.
In order to accomplish the above-mentioned goals, ASD takes activities such as: research and preparation of strategic documents, publishing books and other materials in printed and electronic form, organizing symposiums and seminars and organizing public lectures related to the development process, etc.
