Civil Society Organizations from Macedonia participate in Italy

EKONET presented itself at a Fair in Riminni 

 

In the period between 23 and 28 August, EKONET participated at the Fair called "Meeting for Friendship Among People", which  traditionally takes place in Riminni -Italy. It is one of the most popular festivals in Italy with over 700,000 visitors, which takes place traditionally every year.

EKONET activities and mission were presented through a visual multimedia presentation at the joint stall of the Regional Environmental Centre for Central and Eastern Europe (REC) and the Italian association "Lumana Dimora", supported by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Territories.

As part of the Fair, a ministerial conference took place dedicated to the cooperation in the field of environment among the countries from Central and Eastern Europe and Italy. The ministries' representatives from the Balkans spoke about the efforts their countries make in the direction of sustainable development.
