Calendar   11th July: World Population Day The international day dedicated to the world population, and proclaimed by the UN Organization, has an aim to remind of the global problems of humanity – overpopulation, poverty, hunger, environment, wars… The endless list contains problems specific for different regions, but the solution for all of them is the same – mutual acting of the whole humanity, as one of the noblest effects of globalization.    28th August: Day of the miners The mining craftsman on this day celebrates his profession, with all its good and bad sides. Unfortunately, the shine and the misery of the mining profession in more countries reflect only the dark side of the medal. In many parts of the world mining is still one of the most difficult, the riskiest and the least paid professions.   1st September: Peace day The international peace day in the world is dedicated to the efforts of all those good forces that try to oppose the war spirit. It’s a day when peace events are organized, and the governments are called to stop the wars that are going on in many parts of the world, are taking lives and are degrading humanity.
