REGIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER Balkan Information ServiceThe Central and Eastern European Regional Environmental Center published the brochure “Balkan Information Service” which offers information on BIS –Balkan Information Service established within the Stability Pact, that is, within its component REREP –Regional Environmental Reconstruction Program for South-Eastern Europe. It also informs about the library data, the web-site and the magazine “Green Horizon”, which are in function of this information service on Balkan states. KONRAD ADENAUER FOUNDATION “New Security for the Balkans”…The Konrad Adenauer Foundation published the book “New Security for the Balkans” subtitled “An outlook for stabilization of the region”. The book includes author’s texts presented at the two conferences organized by this foundation this year and the year before that (November 2000 and May 2001), with the aim of opening a discussion for the future security systems on the Balkans and the international communities role in the stabilization of the region.  ORT Web Site on Projects and ActivitiesThe association for informing, training and sustainable development – ORT from Skopje is preparing a web site (www.ort.org.mk) through which it will inform about its activities and projects. At the present moment, the information on “International Partnerships of the 21st Century”, which took place in September this year is on-line, as well as the regular columns for the ORT’s present and finished projects, the library and the data base. The web site offers a special web-connection concerning the campaigns.  TEMPLUM Become Grand FeministsThe publishing house TEMPLUM published a series of original and highly aesthetically designed postcards (22 in Macedonian and 11 in Albanian) and a poster with the motto “How to become a grand feminist”, within its project “Extending the margins”. The project’s aim is decentralization, understood in a wider context as decentralization of the thought, and the messages on the postcards have a universal human dimension. Project is financed by Pro Helvetia and the Open Society Institute Macedonia.  THE FIRST CHILDREN EMBASSY “MEDJASHI” All Together for Equal RightsWithin the project called “Promotion of Children Rights within the Roma Community” the First Children Embassy in the World published the brochure “All together for equal rights” in Macedonian and Roma language. KARPOS MUNICIPALITY Municipality Paper “Karpos”…The Skopje municipality Karpos publishes the paper “Karpos” whose main aim is to provide better information and communication with the citizens. This periodical publishes interviews and talks with the municipality counselors and the authorities from the local self-government and it informs on the events happening there. It also presents the news in the field of education, economy, infrastructure, the municipality budget and finances.  A VOLCANO – ERUPTION OF CREATIVE FORCE A Magazine for People with Special Abilities- “Although there are certain things in life in front of which we close are eyes, we cannot make them disappear”- was just one of the inspiring statements given by the Prof.Dr. Ferid Muhic, said at the promotion of the magazine “Volcano”. On December 26, at the Delegats club, the organization Polio plus- a post-polio group for support, promoted the magazine “Volcano”, subtitled “Magazine of the people with special needs/abilities”. The special need, said the president of this association, Mr. Zvonko Savreski is the trouble of the one who wants to function like the others. It happens that trouble to turn into ability, and “Volcano” should encourage the potentials for that transformation.
