Cultural Center Braka Miladinovci – Struga

Promotion of the book “Labunista”

 

The monograph about the village Labunista by the author Fadil Mustafoski – Mustoski, published by “Iris” from Struga was promoted at the Cultural Center “Braka Miladinovci” in Struga.

Through a number of photographs, the author pictures the history of this village in various periods. The monograph’s readers and it promoters are Dr. Stojan Risteski, Dr. Naum Marinoski and DR, Mihajlo Budinoski, who say that the author is in love with his native village. While Labunista was growing from the darkness of the illiteracy to the present level of development, the author was growing too, carrying in himself the desire to accomplish more. Fadil Mustafoski – Mustoski paid special attention to the ethnographic features, placing special emphasis on the architecture, the tradition, the folk costumes, the dialect and the toponymy. The value of the monograph is seen in the chronological presentation of the events, and the presentation of the numerous geographic, ethnographic and other data – the origin, the customs, the life of the inhabitants, etc., is solid, detailed and objective.
