“KHAM” Delcevo project The civil sector role in the region of Bregalnica The humanitarian and charity Roma association, “KHAM” from Delcevo, with support from the Institute for Sustainable Communities and through the USAID financed “Strengthening the Civil Society” programme, realized the project called “The civil sector role in the region of Bregalnica”. After the announced call submitting applications and grants by the civil society organizations for realizing the project, the grant selection committee at HDZR-KHAM chose 8 CSOs who were given grants of 60,000 – 125,000 MKD for realizing four-month projects. The projects’ implementation started on 1 September. The goal of the project is to support the civic initiatives referring to the actual needs and questions of interest to the local communities whose realization will include support from the local CSOs, which, in cooperation with the local authorities and other partners are working on increasing the civic participation in the public processes and accomplishing concrete results of interest to the citizens.   K.B.
