Common Minister of Foreign Affairs

The European Union will have a common minister of foreign affairs - says the European Union Bulletin, published by the European Commission Delegation in Skopje.

This function will unite the competences of the European Commissary for external affairs and the High Commissary for mutual external policy and security. 

At the moment, these two functions at the European Union are performed by Chris Paten and Xavier Solana.
