At the Faculty of Pedagogy in Skopje

Medioteque and methodology classroom

A medioteque and a methodology classroom started operating last month at the Faculty of Pedagogy “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Skopje. They were equipped and opened through the programme called “Creative teaching and learning” that has been implemented by the Open Society Institute – Macedonia Foundation. In the past few years, the Foundation opened medioteques and methodology classrooms at the faculties of pedagogy in Bitola and Stip.

The premises are fully equipped with the latest IT devices – computers, LCD projectors, and whiteboards. Reconstructions have been made at all three faculties (of the electrical installation, the toilets, etc).

The goal of this donation is to create conditions for better quality education and providing the necessary skills for the future teachers to be able to use the interactive techniques and methods of teaching. The “Creative teaching and learning” programme is financially supported by the United States International Development Programme – USAUID.
