11 October: Anti-fascism Day

Unfortunately, the fascism is not dead. The world anti-fascism day aims to strengthen the activities and the activists who fight against this modern evil, which takes global dimensions. 

 

13-15 October: Living Heritage Conference

The Open Society Institute – Macedonia Foundation is organizing an international conference in Skopje: “Living Heritage – Learning from the innovative culture and heritage practices in Southeast Europe”. 

 

11 October: Fight against poverty

The reduction of poverty, as one of the biggest global problems is one of the Millennium Goals. It reduction into half by 2015 can only be accomplished if the whole world unites and works towards this aim. 

 

20 October: If men and women were equal

“Security under whose condition? If man and women were equal” is the provocative subject of the seminar, organized by the “Kwina til Kwina” Foundation from Stockholm, Sweden. The topic is improving the security and the role of women in the peace processes. .

 

21 October: A tribune: EU funds and the civil society organizations in Macedonia

MCIC will promote the guide for civil society organizations: Approach to the EU funds” and the publication by Suad Misini, “Demystification of the Eurointegration’. The promotion will be used as a debate on how much and how the civil society organizations approach the EU funds.

 

9-10 December: Fair of the local government units

The Union of the Local Government Units (ZELS) has announced the latest ZELS-EXPO for 9th and 10th of December. The municipalities will be given the opportunity to present themselves to the general public at the Skopje Fair. 

 

9-11 December: The 5the NGO Fair – Forum of the Civil Society

The 5the NGO Fair – Forum of the Civil Society in Macedonia will take place from 9 to 11 December at the Skopje Fair. The call for application for participating at this event for all interested civil society organizations will be announced in the daily press.
