NGO Congress 

What can we do for our community? 

On 18 February, this year in Kumanovo a local promotion of the project results "NGO Congress", called "What can we do for our community" took place. It was an opportunity for the NGO, local communities and media representatives from Kumanovo, Kriva Palanka, Lipkovo and Kratovo to discuss the local problems solutions and the local development.
The priorities of these municipalities are the solid waste dumps, rivers pollution, education of children form the socially threatened families, consequences from the recent floods, etc. This project was organized by the OSIMF and the Council of International NGO and financed by the CRS, UNHCR and OSIMF at the end of last year. It covered several debates and panel discussions on the whole territory of the Republic of Macedonia. The citizens, local governments and NGO suggestions and recommendations were given to the Republic of Macedonia Government. M. I.
