"Nasmevki" for the social inclusion of children
 

Since September this year, the Center for social inclusion of children and young people from economically undeveloped regions "Nasmevki" has started its operation.
The Center is financed by the Educational and cultural initiatives foundation "Step by Step", the King Boduen Foundation and the Open Society Institute Macedonia Foundation and it was widely supported by the local self-government, the public institutions and the business-sector. This Center covers socialization and education of 80 children most of which come from socially endangered families and children without parents.

Every day, the children in the Center spend they free time in creative activities, sports games, communication skills, solving conflicts, democracy, environmental education and learning English.

The project's carrier is the ecological association "Flora" from Kriva Palanka, in partnership with the Voluntary fire brigade and the Women Organization form Kriva Palanka.
