·  Advocating is a process (which means something permanent in time and space) of taking actions in order to achieve the (wanted) social changes in the society and the relations of the power and the richness allocation to become more democratic and more justified and to provide the marginal (discriminated, rejected, non-privileged) groups of people a space in the public decision-making, so that their lives and social environment are healthier, more secure and more productive.

·  Lobbying is a practice of influence on the government’s decisions by representatives, which represent some special interests. Lobbying comprises a lot of actions whose aim is to carry out a certain influence. The basic target group of the lobbying action is represented by the decision makers.

·  Negotiating is a process of discussion between at least two parties in order to reach a mutual agreement.
