Toshe contributes to the education with a concert
The United States Organization for International Development – USAID, has organized a concert of the Macedonian mega-star Toshe Proeski as part of their primary education project. The concert, under the motto “The education is our mutual responsibility”, will take place on 5 October 2007, starting at 7.30 pm at the City Stadium in Skopje. The money from the concert will be used for providing the schools with innovative technologies and teaching aids that will contribute for better quality and better education for the children in Macedonia.
USAID will set up a committee involving famous public individuals in order to make sure that the money raised have been correctly calculated and distributed to the schools in a transparent way. The tickets can be bought throughout the country at MASSUM, Cosmofon, Jugoton, and other locations at the price of 200 denars. Special VIP tickets that cost 1,500 denars are also on sale.
The goal of this USAID project is to contribute to improving the education in Macedonia. Equipment for the schools, including LCD-projectors, digital cameras, maths aids and other aids for the natural sciences, is distributed through the project.
