Scouts' Union of Macedonia

Half a century of "Hello Scouts!"

The Scouts' Union of Macedonia is one of the oldest civic associations in our country. This organization has celebrated a great jubilee - 50 years since its establishment and continuous work. This jubilee was marked with a celebration on 13 June at the Army House in Skopje. It was also a working celebration since the Annual Conference of the Scouts' Union of Macedonia took place at the same time.

The Union, besides being one of the oldest civic organizations in our country, is also one of the biggest ones - it has about 50 000 members uniting almost all scout units in Macedonia.

As everywhere in the world, the scouts' mission is development of the young people in the right direction, directing their youth energy towards the positive values, such as socializing, developing the team and sport spirit, love towards nature, raising the awareness for the need of protecting the environment, humanity, unselfishness and helping the others. During its 50-year work, the Scouts' Union has definitely confirmed this mission. We congratulate them with the traditional scout greeting - three times HELLO!
