The re-socialization as a final goal and the desired product of the rehabilitation, illustrates the professional approach, the work and the behavior of the therapist towards the patient. In the very approach to the values, which are of vital interest to the individual and the society as a whole, the physic-therapist and the work-therapist create the rehabilitation plan and programme, which has to be successful and functional. The contact with the patient is professional and clear with all possible respect of their positive and negative characteristics. Understanding and respect of the privacy and dignity are the thread that binds the patient to the therapist.
The association of physical therapists and work-therapists of Macedonia brings together all professionals in these categories and profiles in raising the level of services, with a continuous education and professionalism. Everywhere in the world, therapist’s profile is highly ranked and well-appreciated profile, who, hand in hand with the patient, goes through and solves all the problems that bother them. The multi-disciplinary approach in the work with the patients makes the therapists different from all other medical profiles. The world therapeutic standards that our association published and adopted, tend to promote the professional identity and approach to the vulnerable groups, in accordance with the World Association of Physical Therapists).
