21 January: Remembering the Holocaust 

 
This date id dedicated in the European Union to the memory of the Holocaust and it is declared a day for prevention of crime against the humanity. The EU efforts are directed towards stopping the genocide from repeating anywhere in the world. 

 

2 February: Water habitats day
 

2 February is the day dedicated to the water habitats, which are inhabited by a large number of bird species, fish, amphebia and other flora and fauna. The water stations are an important part of the Planet Earth’s eco-system, and many processes in that system depend on their protection.
