PEOPLE: Zoran Savreski

I would like to change the feeling that we are a "hole" in the world

Professional experience: Graduated at the Faculty of Law, nine-year working experience in the state bodies (The ministry of Internal Affairs), five years in the publishing business (wall papers, working papers). Brigadier bulletins are not calculated.

Engagement in the civic sector: For four years he has been managing (founded as well) Polio Plus - "the loudest" NGO for the rights and dignity of handicapped people in Macedonia (even broader) Youth (SSMM) organizations, student organizations, university senates, local communities, "riots" at hospitals and institutions (not calculated), since at that time, it was forbidden to call them "civic".

Hobbies and Interests: Reading (anything), modelling, history, chansonniering and playing computer games (mostly strategies).

Toughest decision: At the time: to abandon the "security" of the hospital after two and a half years (where everything is great and you don't need anything else).

Recently: to leave the job at the Ministry after nine years (where also, everything is great and you don't need anything else).

Most recently: to understand that the people with handicap are no different or stronger than all the things around them.

Ambitions: To spread the message (this column does not give enough space to explain which one). In the past I thought that I should become a film director, while today, I know that all forms of communication are available.

In his free time he reads: Lately I haven't got much time for reading and there isn't a genre I prefer. I like essays, I prefer autobiographies, I am covered with chronologies, science fiction "turns me on", I relax with comics. My rule is to read everything, because - the wisdom and mistakes follow the human work.

Where does he go in his free time: I have almost no free time, but that little time I have left after finishing all my duties, I try to spend with my old friends, because, as an old poet once said: "They are here to remind you of the music of your soul".

At weekends: If it is not a working weekend, then I try to play with my children as much as I can and visit both my wife's and my parents. In any case, I make all the possible combinations to see the Lake and the River Drim - where I was born.

Which national/local problem does he find especially important and why: self-initiative and dedication!!!
Here I would also mention the health and education (which is the same, the only difference being that the former is of the body and the latter of the mind). At the question "why" - even the whole civil world might be small for us.

Which global problem does he find especially important and why: The "export" of unified values, universal truths and "democracy" - because I think that the differences and the imperfection are the greatest human values. Why? To answer this question we'll need a special edition.

What would he change in Macedonia and the world: In Macedonia, I would like to change the feeling that we are a "hole" in the World. And I would like us to impose to the World that we are not their "hole".

Advice/message: Look inside you, every man is a rarity, a unique blend of knowledge and experience, and worth as such. The responsibility is a small one - to share all that.

I could never: I could do anything! A famous person once said: No human thing is strange to me". However, I would not like to find myself in a situation to break my essential features (postulates): who I am, where I come from, how big I am and what I am here for, anyway.
