Trust in the civil society
The Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) has published the report on the research “Trust in the civil society” that it has carried out for the second time. The report is a result of the need to check how big the citizens’ trust is in the civil society organizations.
Apart from the trust in the civic sector, the trust in the other two sectors has also been checked, state and private (business). The survey was carried out in July this year on a representative sample of 1.601 respondents. The report is divided in two separate parts: trust and civil responsibility (Including charity) and this year’s edition is improved on the basis of last year’s experiences. The survey is part of the program for work of the Macedonian Civic Platform (MCP) and the report has been published in printed version in Macedonian and in electronic in English.

The Foundation Open Society Institute – Macedonia has prepared a practical guide for treatment and prevention against corruption in local self-managements and communities. The guide consists of two volumes – Concepts and Strategies (author Fred Fisher) and Tools for Making the Process Easier (authors Ana Vasilace and Nikol Rata).
