A selection of a medium that contributed most to the civil society development in 2006
The Macedonian Institute for Media (MIM) has started the initiative for selecting a media that contributed most to the civil society development in 2006. The initiative comes as part of the Project for strengthening the civil society.
Starting from 12 September, all civil society organization registered in Macedonia as civic organizations, foundations or foreign organizations’ offices will be able to vote for a medium, which, according to their opinion, contributed most to the civil society development in 2006.
The selection will remain open until 10 December, and the winner of the award will be announced by the end of the year. The voting form has to be completed by the director of the voting organization a person in charge of the public relations. Each organization can give one vote only. All interested organizations can get more detailed information regarding the selection at the special voting link that can be accesses through the MIM web-site: www.mim.org.mk.
The project for strengthening the civil society has been going on for three years and it has been financed by USAID; it has been implemented by a Consortium lead by the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC), The Macedonian Institute for Media (MIM), The Institutional Development Centre (IDC) and The European Centre for Non-for-Profit Law (ECNL).
