MIA, GARD and EMSA 

On the Day of Love Against AIDS

From Three associations – The Macedonian Interethnic Organization – MIA, The Civic Association for Recreational Movement – GARD and The Association of Medical Students – EMSA, on the Day of Love, 14 February, conducted a so-called “Lovers’ Parade” in Skopje, the aim of which was to promote the prevention for AIDS protection.
This activity was realized with the support from the Norwegian Embassy in our country and within the project the award “Heart for Support” was given to Miss. Vesna Petrusevska, for the implementation of the project “The Heart is a Fragile Thing” in her TV show “Vrteleska”.

The parade on the “Lovers Day” was attended by many young people carrying messages for AIDS protection. The parade continued with a walk around the City Park and in the evening, at the disco “Coloseum”.
