EAR and FOSIM
 New NGO supporting centresWithin the project for strengthening the NGOs, that has been implemented by the Foundation Open Society Institute Macedonia, 8 new NGO supporting centres will be open in the socially and economically undeveloped regions in Macedonia.
This project is financed by the European Agency for Reconstruction - EAR and FOSIM and it will last until May 2005.

A national strategy for poverty is being preparedThe World Bank, in cooperation with the Macedonian Government, has been preparing a National Strategy for Reduction of Poverty for some time now. The strategy should refer to the period 2004-2006 and it will be focused on encouraging the economic development.

NGO Parliament
Parliament with open doorsThe non-governmental organizations' coalition, NGO Parliament, has launched the idea for opening the state institutions' doors for the citizens and their organizations, so that they can take more active part in the decision-making processes and contribute to the development of democratic governing structures.
The coalition consists of eighty civic organizations from all over Macedonia.
