Initiative of the Customs Administration

Cooperation between the citizens and the customs services

The Customs administration as part of the Macedonian Government raised a very good initiative that has a double goal - accomplishing better cooperation with the citizens and their involvement in the fight against corruption. The Customs administration appeals to all citizens to report the cases of trafficking, corruption and incorrect operation of the customs services on the number 197.

More examples of such cases can be found on the Customs web site: www.customs.gov.mk (in Macedonian and in English). Through this web-site, the citizens can ask questions regarding the customs operation and rules and inform themselves on the novelties introduced in this area. The Customs web-site offers links to the web-sites of other Governmental bodies and organs.
