European Parliament on Western Balkans Visas Plan

The European Parliament has given its approval to the package of visa facilitation and readmission agreements with the Western Balkan countries. Speaking in a debate at the EP, European Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn said he was glad to see the importance the Parliament was giving to visa facilitation and that the Commission intends to start a dialogue in early 2008 with each of the Western Balkan countries on a roadmap for visa liberalization.
