Project Of the CSO “Idea Project Action” from Probistip
Education on the environment for the primary school pupils from “Nikola Karev”
The CSO “Idea Project Action”, in coordination with the primary school “Nikola Karev” from Probistip, have realized the project “Ecological arrangement of the space around Nikola Karev”. The project also includes education on the environment for the pupils, beautification of the schoolyard by planting trees, grass and horticultural arrangement.
“The project has been going on in three phases – educational part, practical part and a campaign in the local media, i.e. on the national radio and TV. Part of the project were 800 pupils from first to eight grade, that is, all pupils and teachers. Although the project is formally over, the primary school “Nikola Karev” became part of the eco-schools network for continuous awareness strengthening of the present and future generations of pupils”, emphasized the project-coordinator, Aleksandar Mihajlovski.
The main goal of the project was to influence the pupils’ awareness. The project was realized with support from the Ministry of Environment – Environmental Fund. After the termination of the project activities, “Nikola Karev” became part of the eco-schools network, which is organized by the association OHO and whose goal is to provide further and long-term environmental education for the pupils.
