The Dutch foundation Milieukontakt Oost-Europa, through its office in Macedonia and in cooperation with the Journalists’ Legal Environmental Centre ERINA from Skopje, published in Macedonian its publication “Public Participation in practice”, the author of which is Henrieta Martonakova.

The book aims to present possibilities and problems for the public participation in the  decision-making connected with the environment in the countries of the Central and Eastern Europe. Few project examples for the public participation, realized in Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania, have been presented and at the same time they serve as models for implementation of the Aarhus Convention into practice.
