“Transparency Macedonia” requires the fight against urban mafia to strengthen
The civil society organization “Transparency Macedonia” at the press-conference announced the September results for this year, related to the fight against corruption and criminal, as well as the condition of transparency in the society.
This organization sharply condemned criminal assaults between the members of the parliament, as well as beating journalists by the police and political representatives and it asked the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, particularly the Ministry of Interior, to stop the practice of collective arrests followed by pompous media spectacles. “Transparency Macedonia” reckons that there are some serious indications for breaking the legal procedures during the sale of TEC Negotino, when the tender commission chose the offer of the consortium “Hac” as most favorable, in spite of the fact that it had incomplete documentation. TM greeted the decision made by the minister of economy, Vera Rafajlovska, not to sign the decision on the tender until clearing the TEC Negotino case.
