Workshop on solar energy in Jegunovce

On 23 September this year, at the premises of the primary school “Aleksandar Zdravkovski” in Jegunovce, a theoretical and practical workshop on solar energy took place.

The workshop, which is part of the project called “Energetically efficient municipality”, was organized by the Proaktiva working team who have implemented the project financed by The Global Environmental Fund – Small Grants Programme in Macedonia (GEF/SGP) and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The present representatives from all primary schools in the municipality and the local volunteers, helped in the making of a solar system for acquiring hot water out of four square meters to meet the needs of the kindergarten in Jegunovce.

Besides the local representatives, the workshop was also attended by Zlatko Samardziev, GEF/SGP national coordinator and Tore Braend from “Friends of the Earth – Norway”, Proaktiva project partner representative.
