“Let’s ask for more space for us, young people”
 
“Let’s ask for more space for us, young people” is a project promoted by the “Marita – Macedonia” Foundation and The Macedonian Children Parliament; it is financially supported by the “Forum-Syd” Foundation.

The project’s goal is to promote the young people’s positive image and to increase the production of quality contents for the young people in the media.

Stefce Decev, foundation’s Executive Director, says that the project is being realized because of the need to provide bigger space for young people’s presence in the media, as well as to inform the public on the National Strategy for Young People. For that purpose, the “Marita – Macedonia” Foundation is going to promote a web site created by young people for young people.

Part of the project is a training course for training 30-40 young people who will work as journalists and some of them as part of a theater group. A competition for a photo comic called “Heart – let it go on beating will be organized as well.

The project “Let’s ask for more space for us, young people” is to start in October and it is to finish in December. The applications for the project can be obtained from the web-site www.marita-mk.org.
