Kontrapunkt and the Veles Museum

Notes from the Newsagent’s

Skopje, Veles and Bitola are the three stops of the exhibition by the young artist Mile Nicevski, called “Notes from the Newsagent’s”. The exhibition is organized by the association Kontrapunkt and the National Museum in Veles and it is part of the project “Blending the Margins”, supported by the Swiss Cultural Programme for Macedonia. This project has been implemented in several towns in Macedonia and its goal is to contribute to the decentralization of the cultural events and happenings.

After TOCKA Cultural Centre has been guests in Skopje, Bitola and Veles, the exhibition was placed in the wonderful location of the memorial-house of Vasil Glavinov. The artist Mile Nicevski exhibits about 90 drawings done in the period between 1996 and 2004.
