1 November: Promotion

On 7 November this year, at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Skopje, the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) is going to promote two publications: “The report on trust, the accountability on social issues and the volunteering in Macedonia”, and “Civil sector individuals”. The promotions start at 11 am.

9 November: Anti-fascist and anti-Semitism

This day is dedicated to the fight against fascism and the anti-Semitism – two destructive doctrines which have not been eradicated yet, besides the massive campaigns against them. This day should remind us on the horrible deeds against the Jewish people and other people who have been victims of the fascist ideology.

14 November: Keep on learning

Knowledge moves the world. Therefore, the world day dedicated to the science aims to remind us on the importance of various scientific disciplines and accomplishments that have changed our lives.

24-25 November: Regional NGO Fair

The Macedonian Civic Platform (MCP) is organizing this year’s Regional NGO Fair. The Fair takes place in Strumica on 24 and 25 November.

25 November: “No” for the violence against women

The traditional campaign of the women civil society organizations “No” for the violence against women” starts on 25 November. Unfortunately, the various forms of violence against women - the family violence, the human trafficking, etc., are still present in the world today. We need to fight them out!.

27 November: Let us heal the shopping fever

“Buy nothing day” is the title of the campaign that is implemented on this day by the organizations for environmental protection. By refraining ourselves from buying, we show our concern regarding the presence of numerous unnecessary and unusable products on the markets and the consequences producing them – pollution, waste, packaging, etc.

1 December: Anti-AIDS Fight

The first day of December is dedicated to the fight against AIDS, one of the most widespread fatal diseases, which has taken up epidemic dimensions in many (mostly poor) parts of the world.
