New humanitarian campaign

We want, and you can

During the hot month of June, the media among the other things turned the attention of the public to the start of a new humanitarian campaign, whose successful realization asks for active participation of the citizens and the potential donors.

“We want, and you can” is the title of the campaign organized by the city Skopje and the Foundation MobiMak for Macedonia dedicated to providing help for children with cerebral palsy, foreseen to take place in several stages, in whose focus there will be different projects. MobiMak points out that the aim of the campaign is increasing the conscience of the citizens and finding ways for mutual help among all those who want and ask for help and all those who can and want to help.

The first humanitarian action is directed towards gathering means for helping Orce Lazarov, a fifteen-year-old boy from Gevgelija, who moves only with the help of a wheelchair, and lives on the fifth floor of a ruined building. The Red Cross of the city Skopje at the start of the campaign participates with providing a project for building a two-room house, for which, according to the evaluation, they need 9,000 Euros, and the Mayor of the municipality Gevgelija Dragi Delev promised that the municipality, as its own gift, will provide a place for the new home of Orce Lazarov.

In the humane activities foreseen for this period of the campaign all legal and physical entities can take part, by donating 100 denars with calling the special donation number 070 / 143 – 100, open for MobiMak users, by paying means on the open account of the Red cross of the city Skopje – mark HUMANOST 370011200073503 Eurostandard bank and by buying the music CD “We want, and you can”, at the price of 100 denars.
