IKOMOS celebrated a decade's work

The Macedonian National Committee of IKOMOS marked the ten-year anniversary of its work. The President of the Macedonian National Committee, Dr. Lazar Sumanov spoke at the 14th meeting of the MNK IKOMOS Assembly that took place on 28 February this year. After the years' assembly, a Forum took place, dedicated to the Cifte Amam. as one of the most important historic monuments in Macedonia. The Macedonian National Committee IKOMOS is preparing the celebration of their jubilee for May this year, when a ...meeting will take place as well.

The Macedonian National Committee is part of the International NGO IKOMOS, which consists of a group of professionals working on the protection and conservation of the historic monuments and historic towns and localities. IKOMOS have their offices throughout the world. This organization provides a constant forum for professional dialogue on the principles of protection, conservation and evaluation of this specific kind of cultural heritage.
